Does the DDPAI dash cam support loop recording?
All our models of dashcams support loop recording.
- Without an SD card inserted, when 90% of the storage capacity of the built-in eMMC storage card is used, the system will automatically overwrite the earliest videos, reducing the storage volume from 90% back to 85%. However, locked collision videos will not be overwritten. They should be manually deleted when no longer needed to free up space.
- With an SD card inserted, the storage volume of the built-in eMMC card is maintained at 80%. The earliest video files will be automatically transferred to the SD card until the SD card is full. Then, the system will overwrite the earliest videos on the SD card. As with the internal storage, locked collision videos will not be overwritten and should be manually deleted when they are no longer needed to free up space.
How do I turn off the voice control feature?
To turn off the voice control feature, open the DDPAI APP and connect to the dash cam Wi-Fi. Enter the settings interface and set the “Local Voice Control” to “Off.”
What should do if the dash cam time is not synchronized?
Ensure that the APP and the dash cam are properly connected. Once your phone is connected to the dash cam, the dash cam will automatically synchronize the time through the app.
Can multiple phones connect to the dash cam at the same time?
No, it can only support connection to one phone at a time. If the dash cam is currently connected to a phone, a new phone connection will override the previous one.
What is the difference between grid download and timeline trimming?
Grid Download: Click on the device album (snapshot events and emergency events) to enter the grid page and download videos.
Timeline Trimming: Start trimming the video from the playback timeline point. The system can support trimming a video up to 3 minutes in length.
